ACAS Acas advisers work with employers and their employees to improve behaviour and relationships, to make sure procedures and processes are in place and working well, and to agree any training needed to make the workplace work better.
Department of Trade & Industry The DTI develops legislation on hours of work, pay entitlement, public holidays, employment agency standards, individual employment rights, redundancy arrangements, employee consultation, trade unions, and collective rights.
Disability Rights Commission The Disability Discrimination Act aims to end the discrimination which many disabled people face in their everyday lives. But there is more to do. The Disability Rights Commission works to secure full civil rights for disabled people. It wants stronger laws in several areas.
